We have talked to Passion-XBMC members a couple of times about working more closely together, and while those talks are still in early stages their community has been extremely supportive of us. This last month our friends at the french community Passion-XBMC set up a donation drive for us spearheaded by their member mikebzh44, and the end result was truly amazing, they managed to raise the biggest ever single donation of £458.65!  Which has catapulted us to 60% of our target. What is the Associated Fanart? Basically it’s an association of members that has formed to propose standards and ideas for fanart. The association will also help pay for hosting costs for the site out of membership dues and any other funds it receives, therefore all donations will go through the association, as the association takes dues yearly our hope is to be able to pay for the server yearly as well, that is why we have a goal set for paying next years hosting costs with an indicator of what we are short of. On the 24th March we asked for help paying for the server, and lots of you generously donated enough to pay for the server for 3 months, that money ran out after the May 27th payment, so the June 27th payment I mostly funded myself. We currently have £13 a month coming in from recurring donations vs a £78.98 a month server cost, so thanks to the guys who set up recurring donations, it’s most appreciated, unfortunately it falls well short of what’s needed. I recently found, after updating to WordPress 3.4, that the visual editor had stopped working, for no discernible reason that I could think of. After a lot of time spent trying to fix this issue, which involved deactivating all my plugins, renaming the plugin folder, changing theme, none of which produced any results, I eventually dived into the code to debug – the solution was ridiculously simple yet not at all intuitive.
