Unfortunately the copyright holder or an agent working on their behalf has forced us to remove this page. A condensed copy of the complaint is at the bottom.
I replied to the complaint with:
I don’t know what you know about the site, but we are just an archive of images uploaded by media fans. The images we store are mostly promotional images or hand crafted by dedicated fans (the logos are often created by hand or painstakingly cut out). They are visual representations of the product, not the product itself (i.e. The movie).
They add value to the products by making fans collections look that much better. They are free promotion for the movie. And finally they aren’t high enough resolution to substitute for a professional print.
Are you also targeting IMDB, TheMovieDB etc or is the issue solely with this site and if so is there anything we can do about it?
All that said if you are adamant you want the images removed let me know and I’ll be sure it gets done.
Unfortunately they responded confirming they wanted the images removed. The original complain is below with contact information removed.
