Description:

Here are the templates to create images for the site. They have several layers with different colored backgrounds (the same we use to inspect images in the pending queues) They also have guide lines for the 10px gutter where applicable.*NOTE* Gimp is able to open Photoshop files, but doesn’t support all features so some things might be lost.

Photoshop Templates:

Gimp Templates:

Universal Templates:

These are just image templates that can be loaded into any layer based graphics editor. These are already placed into the gimp templates above.

**notes:

  • .eps, .ai & .svg files are vector images.
  • eps and ai are proprietary image formats that are designed to be used by Adobe products. (Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • svg files are an open format and are used by Gimp/Inkscape/Paint.net/etc…
  • There may be special import options to consider when working with these formats. Consult the documentation of your graphics program if you are unsure how to use these files.
