A big increase in traffic on the way

As some of you might know, trakt.tv is set to remove images from their API results at the end of October. This is intended to reduce their bandwidth by around 850TB/mo. As a result of this change, fanart.tv’s bandwidth is set to massively increase as some developers start using us to provide images instead. This has already started, and in just the last 5 days our bandwidth has doubled. Recent API Issues

We were recently contacted by Cloudflare and told we were on the wrong package for the amount of bandwidth we were using (and the type of content we were caching, mainly images from the API assets) and that we should move to the enterprise plan for $2000/mo. Of course, this is more than a couple of years of donations so wasn’t remotely feasible, which prompted me to set up a varnish server to handle the asset requests.
